“Home Truths” Nominated for the Red Maple Award

I’m happy to tell you that “Home Truths” is nominated for the Red Maple Award 2012. This is the Ontario Library Association’s fiction list for grades 7-8, and means the book will be in participating schools in Ontario over the winter.

It also means I’ll be off to Harbourfront in Toronto again next May. Something to look forward to as the days grow shorter and colder!

Congratulations! Our school board just got all the Forest of Reading books, and I picked yours to read first. I am only on page 30 but it’s a great read already. Best of luck.
